Today’s handmade card has been created using a digi image design from Craftsuprint called Kneeling Fairy (ref cup557416_66) by Sheila Rodgers.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ By 7″ White Card
Kneeling Fairy Digi Image
Chameleon Pens
Black Card
White Card
Purple Card
Pink Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print off the digi image Kneeling Fairy.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from purple card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a square from white card measuring 7 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a square from black card measuring 6.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Cut a square from pink card measuring 6 cms by 6 cms.
Cut each piece in half corner to corner.
Matt and layer together making two triangles.
Attach one to the top right corner and one to the bottom left corner of the card base using foam pads.
Layer three:
Colour in the Kneeling Fairy digi image, I have used Chameleon pens.
Flowers: VO4, GR2
Fairy Hair: NU4
Fairy Skin: NU1
Fairy Dress: PK5
Fairy Crown: YO3
Fairy Wings: PK3, PK2, PK4
Bird: BR1
Butterfly: RD2, CG9
Cut the digi image to measure 12 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a square from black card measuring 12.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
