Knitty Kitty : Did someone say cream cake – Merry Christmas

0 3 Comments

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #387 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Knitty Kitty called Did someone say cream cake? Digi No. 67.

I decided to turn the digi image into a Christmas card.

The optional theme for this challenge is use 3 of a kind, but you must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Next score and fold the front of the card base in half to make a z-fold card base.

Cut a square from silver mirri card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Then cut a square from blue card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together.

Next cut a square from white card measuring 8.5 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a wave shape in the white card to look like snow mountains.
Attach to the last matt and layer and attach all to the inside of the card base.

Using the spruce tree dies cut three trees out of green card and attach to the inside of the card base.

Next add the Christmas embellishments to the inside of the card base, creating a scene.

Cut a piece out of silver card measuring 20 cms by 7 cms.
Cut the digi image to measure 20 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.

To finish add a Christmas sentiment to the front of the card base with a few pearl beads.

Then add a Christmas hat to the middle cat.
