Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #258 that starts today.
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.
I have used a Debbi Moore Designs Usb called Life Quotes compendium collection.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ By 8″ White Card
Debbi Moore Designs – Life Quotes Usb Compendium
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Embellishment Die Collection
Blue Card
White Card
Silver Gems
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Open up the usb and go to life quotes volume 5.
Print off a square topper sheet, one embellishment sheet with bows and two papers.
Layer one:
Cut a square from blue card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a square from white card measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a square from blue card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut each piece in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together.
Attach to the card base on the bottom right corner using foam pads.
Layer three:
From the topper sheet, cut out a border strip.
Attach two pieces to the card base on the top left using foam pads.
Layer four:
Cut a square from white card measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Cut a square from blue card measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the square topper.
Add a piece of the border strip to the bottom right corner and top left corner using foam pads.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer five:
Cut out a bow and attach to the top left corner of the topper.
Using a butterfly die, cut a butterfly from the first paper.
Cut the butterfly body from blue card.
Matt and layer the butterfly together and attach to the topper on the bottom right.
Add silver gems to the bow and butterfly.
