Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.
For my card I have used one of their digital images called Little Companion.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

Promarkers

White Card
Circle Dies
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Print the digital image Little Companion on to white card.
Choose three patterned papers, one coloured card and one circle sentiment topper.
Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 13 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 12.5 cms 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.
Layer three:
Using a circle die, cut a circle from coloured card.
The using a smaller circle die, cut the circle topper slightly smaller.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping layer two.
Layer four:
Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 3 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a piece from the third patterned paper measuring 2.5 cms 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer five:
Colour in the digital image Little Companion, I used promarkers.
Skin / Face: Almond, pastel beige, ivory, orchid, marine.
Hair: Warm grey 2, 4, 5.
Feather Dress: Orchid, lilac, slate.
Flowers / Leaves: Dusky rose, burgundy, honeycomb, soft green, mint green.
Bird: Apricot, turquoise, marine.
Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
