Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #75.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Little Heart.

The theme for the challenge is For The Boys.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Little Heart
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches – Precious Love Digital Download Collection
White Card
Star Dies
White Gel Pen
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Little Heart on to white card.
Then print one plain blue paper, one plain gold paper, one cloud paper and one alphabet sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from blue paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the cloud paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using two star dies, cut two stars from gold paper.
Attach one to the card base using glue and the other using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Little Heart. I used promarker pens.

Elephant Trunk: Ice grey 1, 2, 3, 4.
Baby Elephant: Cadet blue, denim blue, midnight blue, salmon pink, antique pink. carmine. warm grey 2, 5.
Heart: Sky blue, true blue, white gel pen.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut seven white squares from white card measuring 2 cms by 2 cms.
From the alphabet sheet cut out the sentiment ‘Its A Boy’
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
