Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #564.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option My Best Friend.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Narwhal Whale.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Polkadoodles Crafts Digital Image – Narwhal Whale
Promarker Pens
The Crafty Witches – Mermaids Lovelies
White Card
Blue Card
Heart Dies
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Narwhal Whale on to white card.
Print an ocean paper, a patterned paper and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from blue card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the ocean paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using four different size heart dies, cut two matt layers from white card and two smaller hearts from the patterned paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Narwhal Whale, I used promarker pens.

Whale: Blue pearl, bluebell, cornflower. cadet blue, cyan.
Mermaid Hair: Blue pearl, bluebell, cornflower.
Mermaid Skin/Tail: Dusky pink, oatmeal, pastel pink, coral, mango, orange.
Flowers/Leaves: Cardinal red, firebrick, pesto, lush green.
Crown: Sunflower, gold.

Cut around the image leaving a small white border.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
From the sentiment sheet, cut out a sentiment.
Cut a white matt layer and matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
