Today’s card has been made using ‘Nature’s Gift’ paper and die collection by Creative Crafting World.
This is another beautiful collection in The Paper Boutique range.
To make this card you will need :
2 x 8″ by 8″ White Card
A4 Cream Card
A4 Chocolate Card
The Paper Boutique Nature’s Gift 8″ x 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Nature’s Gift Card
The Paper Boutique Woodland Animals Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Little Things Mean A Lot Doily Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Sentiments Volume VIII
The Paper Boutique Pearl Collection
Wet Glue
Foam Pads
Invisible Thread
Instructions:
Choose one paper from the paper pad and attach one corner to the front of one of the 8″ by 8″ card bases. This will keep the paper in place but still allow you to put the invisible thread between the paper and card base when needed.
Then place the matt doily in the centre of this card base and run it though your machine.
Make sure that you only cut though the front of the card base and the paper.
Next using one of the matching Nature’s Gift coloured card and wet glue attach this to the inside of the card base that you have just cut and one side of the inside of the other card base.
Using the card base that now has a hole in it, attach the paper side to the plain card base side. This will then make an easel shape card.
Cut out one fox, one squirrel and one rabbit from the animals die.
Cut the matt layer, the fox features and squirrel tail in chocolate card. All animal body die’s in cream card. Rabbit tail in white card.
Before attaching the animals together, put a little piece of black card behind their eyes.
Cut the leaf doily die out of two different shades of brown card and save the leaves that fall out.
Using the invisible thread, make three hanging leaf decorations by sandwiching the invisible thread between two leaves.
Attach one end of the invisible thread between the paper and card base at the top and bottom of the front of the card.
Using wet glue attach the front paper, this also hide where the invisible thread has been attached.
Next attach the animals to the front of the card base. The squirrel and fox on the inside and the rabbit on the outside.
Cut a piece of chocolate card measuring 12 cms by 7 cms, a piece of cream card measuring 11.5 cms by 6.5 cms and matt and layer together.
Using foam pads attach to the card base, making a stopper for the front of the easel card.
This is also where you can write your message.
Cut out a sentiment using two different shades of brown card and attach to the card base using foam pads.
To finish off this design add a couple of leaf decorations with a couple of pearls.
Thank you for visiting my blog and please feel free to make any of my card designs.
