Today’s handmade card has been created using a new paper collection called Ocean Breeze and dies from the Lovely Lattice collection.

The Ocean Breeze paper collection is a new range from The Paper Boutique from Creative Crafting World and will be first showing on Create and Craft on Tuesday the 30th of July.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card 
The Paper Boutique Ocean Breeze – 8″ by 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Ocean Breeze – Coloured Card Collection 
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Sending All My Love Die Collection 
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Posy Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Sentiment Volume XV Die Collection
Square Die
White Card 
Gold Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Tape

Instructions:

Choose four coloured cards from the coloured card collection and one paper from the 8″ by 8″ paper pad.

Cut a square from one of the coloured card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from the paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Next cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Using a square die cut the centre of the white square out.

Then using the doily die set, cut the matt layer out from one of the coloured cards.
Cut the doily die out from white card.
Matt and layer together.
Place the doily layer under the bottom right corner the white square.
Cut off the over lap of the doily die cut.
Next using the left over doily die cut, place this under the top left corner of the white square card.

Attach the white square to the card base using double foam tape strips.

Using the leaf die cut three leaves out of coloured card.
Then attach these to the bottom right corner.

Make two flowers up using two different sized flower dies.
Attach the largest to the bottom right corner and the smallest to the top left corner of the card base.
Add gold gems to the center of the flowers.

Using a sentiment, cut the matt layer and sentiment out in two different coloured cards.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom left corner of of the card base.
