Today’s handmade card has been created using a new paper collection called Ocean Breeze and dies from the Lovely Lattice collection.

The Ocean Breeze paper collection is a new range from The Paper Boutique from Creative Crafting World and will be first showing on Create and Craft on Tuesday the 30th of July.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card 
The Paper Boutique Ocean Breeze – 8″ by 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Ocean Breeze – Coloured Card Collection 
The The Paper Boutique Ocean Breeze – Embellishment Pad
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Posy Embellishment Die Collection
White Card 
Gold Gem
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose three cards from the coloured card collection and three papers from the 8″ by 8″ paper pad.
Then cut out the long topper and a sentiment from the embellishment pad.

Cut a square from one of the coloured cards measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from one of the papers measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Next cut a piece from the same card measuring 20 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the center of the card base.

Cut a piece from the same coloured card measuring 9.5 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 9 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, leaving a 7.5 cms boarder at the top.

Next cut a piece from the same coloured card measuring 7.5 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer this with the topper.
Attach to the card base using foam pads over lapping all layers.

Cut a matt layer for the sentiment using the same coloured card.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the card base.

Using the leaf die cut two out in one of the coloured card.
Attach to the bottom left corner of the topper.

Then using one of the flower dies, cut one out from white card and one out from ones of the coloured cards.
Matt and layer together and attach to the leaves, adding a gold gem the center.
