This handmade Christmas card has been created using the new paper and die collection called Once Upon A Christmas from Creative Crafting World.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
A5 White Card
The Paper Boutique Once Upon A Christmas – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Once Upon A Christmas – 6″ by 6″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Once Upon A Christmas – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Once Upon A Christmas – Snowfall Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Once Upon A Christmas – Sentiments Volume XVI Die Collection
White Card
Silver Pearl
Red Ribbon
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Choose an insert. one paper from the 6″ by 6″ paper pad and three coloured cards from the coloured card collection.
Cut a piece from the insert measuring 21 cms by 9 cms.
Attach to the left of the card base.
Next cut a piece from one of the coloured cards measuring 14 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from the 6″ by 6″ paper measuring 13.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base slightly over lapping the insert layer.
Cut a piece from the second coloured card measuring 9 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 8.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Then cut a piece from the first coloured card measuring 5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Attach this across the center.
Criss-cross red ribbon on the left side. Please see picture for reference.
Using foam pads attach to the left of the card base over lapping all other layers.
Using the largest snowflake from the die collection, cut the matt layer out in coloured card.
Cut the snowflake out in white card.
Matt and layer together and attach over the red ribbon using foam pads.
Using a sentiment from the die collection, cut the matt layer out in white card.
Then cut the sentiment out in the third coloured card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the right of the snowflake using foam pads.
To finish add a silver pearl bead to the center of the snowflake.
