Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Peony Dawn.
This image is a pre-coloured image.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Image Called Peony Dawn
White Card
Black Card
Debbi Moore Designs – Oriental Promise Cd- Rom
The Crafty Witches – Spellbinding Essential Sentiments Volume I
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the pre-coloured digital image Peony Dawn twice on to white card.
From the Oriental Promise cd print one backing paper.
From the sentiment collection print one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from the backing paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 15.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut one of the printed images to measure 15 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
From the second printed image, cut some of the flowers out.
Using foam pads attach these to the same image on the card base.

Next cut a black matt layer for one of the sentiments.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
