This handmade gatefold card has been created using a paper collection called Perfect Partners from Creative Crafting World.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A4 Card
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partner – Black Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partner – Kraft Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Flower Garden – Good Luck Doily Die Collection
White Card
Black Card
Black Gems
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two papers from the black pad and one paper from the kraft pad.

Card Shape
To make the gatefold card take a piece of a4 white card, using the card landscape score 7.4 cms from each end.
Fold each end inwards to make the correct card base shape.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 20 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut two pieces from black card measuring 20.5 cms by 7 cms.
Cut two pieces from the second paper measuring 20 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the two front panels.

Layer three:
Cut three pieces from black card measuring 4 cms by 8 cms.
Cut three pieces from the third paper measuring 3 cms by 7 cms.
Shape one of each end, please see image.
Matt and layer together.
Attach two to the front of the card base on the right, one at the top and one at the bottom.
Then attach one to the front of the card base on the left in the centre.

Layer four:
Using the sentiment, cut the matt die from white card.
Cut the sentiment from black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of layer three.

Layer five:
Using the flower die, cut two from white card.
Attach to layer three, one at the top and one at the bottom.
Adding black gems to the centre of the flowers.
