Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #292

The theme for this challenge is Easter or Spring + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be follow and a sentiment included.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Digi Doodle Studios Digi Image Peyton’s Painted Eggs
Promarker Pens
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies – Volume I
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies – Volume IV
The Paper Boutique Occasions and Celebrations Vol. I
White Card
Navy Blue Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Peyton’s Painted Eggs, on to white card and choose three patterned papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from navy blue card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from navy blue card measuring 19.5 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Peyton’s Painted Eggs, I used promarkers.

Rabbit: Dusky rose, pale pink, warm grey 1,3,5, mustard, yellow.
Paint / Pots: Crimson, berry red, cool grey 2,4, petrol blue, verdigris, pumpkin, amber, almond.
Paint Brush: Cool grey 2, cocoa, caramel, black.

Layer four:
Using the 9.3 cms by 15.5 cms rectangle die, cut out the digital image.
Attach to the card base, over lapping layer one and two.
Then using the 11.3 cms by 17.5 cms and 9.3 cms by 15.5 cms rectangle die, cut out a frame from white card.
Attach the frame to the digital image using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the large corner dies, cut four from navy card.
Using the smaller corner dies, cut four from the third patterned paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the corners of the frame.

Layer six:
Using two flag dies, cut two flags from navy card.
Attach to the card base on the top right.

Layer seven:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from white card.
Cut the sentiment from navy blue card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer eight:
Cut a square from navy blue card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
