Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #576.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of On The Farm.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digis House Of Stamps.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Pigs On The Wing.

Dr. Digis House Of Stamps – Pigs On The Wing
Promarker Pens
Versa Color Ink Pads
Honey Doo Wall Stencil

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image:
Print the Pigs on the Wings digital image twice on white card — one in a larger size and the other slightly smaller.

Create Layer One:
Cut a 16 cm x 16 cm square from white card.
Use ink pads and stencils to create a wall and sun scene.
The ink pads I used were: Canary, narcissus, bark, topaz, sand beige.
Attach the completed background onto the card base.

Create Layer Two:
Cut a 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm square from black card.
Trim the center out to create a 1.5 cm-wide frame.
Attach the frame to the card base using foam pads for added dimension.

Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the pigs on the wings digital images.
Here are the colours I used:
Large Pig: Carmine, salmon pink, cocktail pink, saffron, peach, burnt sienna, caramel, cool grey 2, 3, 4, 5, ice grey 4, 5.
Small Pig: Rose pink, baby pink, pink carnation, saffron, sky blue, cyan, cool grey 2, 3, 4, 5, ice grey 4, 5.

Carefully cut around the pigs, leaving a small white border for a clean outline.
Attach the smaller pig image to the card and then using foam pads attach the larger pig to the card base, adding dimension.

Create Layer Three:
Die-cut two pieces of grass from green card using a grass die
Attach to the bottom of the black frame.

Final Touches:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base for a personal message.
