Today’s card has been made using the square doily dies and The Paper Boutique ‘Pink Paradise’ paper collection from Creative Crafting World.
The square doily dies and new paper collection are on Create and Craft Saturday the 6th of October.
I decided to use one of the square dies to make an easel card.
To make this card you will need :
8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique ‘Pink Paradise’ Topper
The Paper Boutique ‘Pink Paradise’ Insert
The Paper Boutique ‘Pink Paradise’ Coloured Card
The Paper Boutique ‘Just For You’ Square Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Pearl Collection ‘Silver’
The Paper Boutique Four Seasons Collection ‘A New Days Dawn‘ Die Collection
A4 White Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Choose a topper, an insert and two of the coloured cards. For this design I have used pink and green.
Place the matt layer from the square die set on to the card base, slightly overlaying the join and run it through your machine.
Score the front of the card base in half and fold.
This will make the base card shape for this easel card.
Next cut the square doily matt die from white card and attach this to the bottom part of the fold.
Using the square doily matt die cut one die out from the insert and from the pink coloured card.
Attach the insert die cut to the base of the easel card (you will have to cut this down slightly at the edge) and the pink coloured card die cut to the front of the easel card.
Then cut the square doily die out of white card.
Attach to the top of the easel card.
Cut a square from the green coloured card using the centre square die from the doily die set.
Using foam pads attach this to the front of the easel card.
Cut a circle from the plain part of the insert using the centre circle die from the ‘New Day Dawns’ die collection.
Using foam pads attach this to the front of the easel card.
Next using foam pads attach the topper to the front of the easel card and add a couple of silver pearls.
Using the sentiment from the square die collection cut the matt layer out in the green coloured card and the words out in the pink coloured card.
Matt and layer these together and then using double foam pads attach to the bottom of the easel card.
The double foam pads just gives that extra height to form a stopper for the front of the easel card.
Thank you for visiting my blog and please feel free to make any of my card designs.
Thank you for explaining how you made the shaped easel I couldn’t work it out.
Beautiful card, love the colours and design
