Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #561.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option Use Sepia Colours.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Pirate No 4.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
CFL Digi Designs Digital Image – Pirate No 4
Promarker Pens
The Crafty Witches Spellbinding Classic – Creamy Latte
White Card
Banner Dies
Versafine Ink – Vintage Sepia
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Pirate No 4 on to white card.
Choose and print two patterned paper and one plain paper.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the plain paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Using the ink pad, go around all the edges on each paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the plain paper measuring 19.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Using the ink pad, go around all the edges on each paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Colour in the Pirate No 4 digital image, I used promarker pens.

Hat / Jacket: Walnut, burnt orange, chestnut, burnt umber, terracotta.
Skin: Blush, coral, raw sienna.
Hair: Caramel, burnt sienna.

Cut a piece of the plain paper measuring 16 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut the image to measure 15.5 cms by 11 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer four:
Using the banner dies, cut two from the plain paper.
Using foam pads attach to the card base on the left.

Layer five:
Using Word, type and print out two sentiments.
Using the plain paper cut matt layers for the sentiments.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
