This handmade card has been created using the new dvd-rom called Family Portraits from Creative Crafting World.  On this Family Portraits dvd-rom are pictures of different dog breeds and their puppies that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering.

You can purchase the Family Portraits dvd-rom on Saturday the 25th of May on Create and Craft.

The shows are 10am to 12pm and then again at 6pm to 7pm

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
6″ by 6″ White Card
Pollyanna Pickering Family Portrait Dogs Dvd-Rom
Black Card
Black Pearl Beads
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the dvd-rom print off the four image decoupage sheet, two backing papers and then a plain insert.
With the plain inserts you can add a message before printing.

Using the 6″ by 6″ card base, score and fold the back in half.
Turn the card base so that the main card fold is on the right.

Cut a piece of black card measuring 14.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from one of the papers measuring 14 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to front of the card base on the left.

From the decoupage sheet, cut one of the images out and use as the base image.
Cut a piece of black card measuring 9.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the front of the card overlapping the last layer.

Next fussy cut parts of the dogs out from the other images.
Using foam pads attach these to the base image.

Then cut two pieces from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Cut two pieces from the same paper measuring 14 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Lay the card flat and attach to the card base on either side of the back fold.

Put this card to one side.

Using the 8″ by 8″ card base score and fold the front in half.

Cut a square out of black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the inside of the card base.

Next cut a piece from black card measuring 20 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the front fold of the card base.

Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut the plain insert out.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the back of the card base.

Next attach the 6″ by 6″ card base to the 8″ by 8″ card base.
On the 6” by 6” card attach a strip of double sided tape onto the back part of the card that has the image on.
Add a strip of double sided tape onto the back of the right hand panel.
Attach the right hand panel to the inside of the 8″ by 8″ card base.
Attach the front to the front fold of the 8″ by 8″ card base.

To finish add a couple of black pearl beads to the front of the 6″ by 6″ card base.
