This handmade card has been created using a dvd-rom called Majestic Cats from Creative Crafting World.
This dvd-rom is full of beautiful different cat breeds and backgrounds that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering.

For this card I chose the Bicolour cat designs.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
Pollyanna Pickering Majestic Cats Dvd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Angels Are Near Die Collection
White Card
Black Card
Black Ribbon
White Ribbon
Black Pearl Beads
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the dvd-rom print off the fourth image sheet, two backing papers and then a plain insert.
With the plain inserts you can add a message before printing.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 17 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from one of the papers measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the doily die set, cut the matt die out from black card.
Then cut the decorative die out from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of layer two.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 20 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Then cut a piece from the second paper measuring 20 cms by 5 cms.
Matt and layer this using foam pads.
Attach to the left side of the card base slightly over lapping all layers.

Layer five:
Cut a circle from black card using the circle die from the doily die set.
Cut a circle topper from the image sheet.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Then attach to the centre of the doily die cut layer using foam pads slightly over lapping layer four.

Layer six:
Using the doily die set sentiment, cut the matt die out from black card.
Cut the sentiment out from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom left of the card base.

Layer seven:
Using the small feather embellishments from the doily die set, cut one out from black card and two from white card.
Attach them to layer four.
Make up a bow with the two ribbons and attach to the feathers adding a pearl bead to the centre.

To finish add the insert to the inside of the card base.
