This handmade card has been created using a dvd-rom called Majestic Cats from Creative Crafting World.
This dvd-rom is full of beautiful different cat breeds and backgrounds that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering.
For this card I chose the Kitten designs.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ by 8″ White Card
Pollyanna Pickering Majestic Cats Dvd-Rom
Black Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
From the dvd-rom go to the second page and print off the eighth sheet which is the decoupage images, one sentiment sheet, three backing papers and an insert.
With the plain inserts you can add a message before printing.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from backing paper one measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 17 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a piece from backing paper two measuring 16.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from backing paper three measuring 19.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads slightly over lapping the first two layers.
Layer four:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 13 cms by 9.5 cms
Cut out one of the toppers.
Matt and layer together.
Next cut out the kittens from a second topper and over lay them on to the first topper.
Attach to the card base using foam pads over lapping layer two and three.
Layer five:
Cut two pieces out of black card measuring 2 cms by 8 cms.
Cut out two sentiments.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
To finish add the insert to the inside of the card base.
