This handmade card has been created using a dvd-rom called Majestic Cats volume II from Creative Crafting World. 

This dvd-rom is full of beautiful different cat breeds and backgrounds that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

2 x 6″ by 6″ White Cards
Pollyanna Pickering Majestic Cats Volume II Cd-Rom
White Card
Black Card
Pearl Beads
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the dvd-rom print off three patterned papers, one square topper and one sentiment.

Next cut one of the 6″ by 6″ card bases in half.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the main card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to one of the half card bases.

Layer three:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from the third paper measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to one of the half card bases.
Next cut a square from black card measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 10 cms by 10 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the square topper.
Attach to the centre of the first layers.

Layer four:
To make the star card shape, lay layer one on to a flat surface as if it is a diamond shape.
Making sure that the card base opens on the right.
Then attach layer two at the normal angle.
Next turn the layers so that two points are at the bottom and level.
Attach layer three at the normal angle.

Layer five:
To finish add a sentiment.
Cut a piece of black card measuring 2.5 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 2 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
