Today’s handmade card has been created using a new cd-rom called World Wildlife Studies from Creative Crafting World.
This cd-rom is full of beautiful images that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering and will be on Create and Craft on Saturday the 27th of March.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ by 8″ White Card
Pollyanna Pickering World Wildlife Studies Cd-Rom
Brown Card
White Card
Corner Punch
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
From the cd-rom select Gorilla, go to the first page and print off the first image sheet.
Go to the fourth page and print off the seventh patterned paper sheet.
Next go to the sixth page and print off the first sentiment sheet and the fifth image insert sheet.
From the card base, cut 10 cms from the front.
Layer one:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the plain part of the insert measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
Next cut the image from the insert to measure 18.5 cms in height and attach to the inside of the card base on the right using foam pads.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 19.5 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.
Layer three:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 9 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 8.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
From the first image sheet, cut out one of the rectangular images.
Using the corner punch, shape all of the corners.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.
Layer four:
Cut two pieces from brown card measuring 2 cms by 7.5 cms.
Cut out two sentiments from the first image sheet.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front off the card base.
Layer five:
To finish cut out a couple of the images from the patterned paper.
Attach them to layer four using foam pads.
