Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #252 that starts today.
The theme for this challenge is Flowers + A Sentiment.
For my card I have used a digi image from Fred She Said called Poppies.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ By 7″ White Card
Fred She Said called Poppies
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique Summer In Provence – Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Sentiments Volume XIII Die Collection
White Card
Silver Card
Butterfly Punch
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Choose two papers from the paper pad.
Layer one:
Cut a square from silver card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 7 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from silver card measuring 6.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 6 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach across the centre of the card base.
Layer three:
Colour in the digi image Poppies using chameleon pens.
Flowers: RD4
Foliage: GR4, GR2
Cut a piece from white card measuring 14 cms by 10.5 cms.
Cut a piece from silver card measuring 13.5 cms by 10 cms.
Cut the digi image to measure 13 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
Using the sentiment die set, cut the matt die from silver card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
