Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #255 that starts today.

The theme for this challenge is Christmas In July + A Sentiment.

For my card I have used a digi image from LeAnnsWorld101 called Presents

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
LeAnnsWorld101 called Presents
The Paper Boutique A Christmas Visitor – Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique A Christmas Visitor – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Christmas Visitor – Embellishment Pad
Chameleon Pens
White Card
Silver Card
Snowflake Punch
Small Silver Gems
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need one coloured card, one patterned paper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 19 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 4 cms by 19 cms.
Attach across the centre of the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image Presents using chameleon pens.

Tree: GR2
Baubles/Tinsel: YO3, RD5, RD2, NU4
Presents: BG4, NG4, BL4, BL7, PK4, PK2, BV2, VO4

Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 15 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut the digi image, measure 14.5 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, over lapping all layers.
Next using the snowflake punch, cut six out from silver card.
Attach the snowflakes to the digi topper and add small silver gems to the centres.

Layer six:
Cut the sentiment out and attach to the card base on the top right using foam pads.
