Rainy Raymond – Get Well Soon

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #436

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Garden or Outside.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr. Digi’s House Of Stamps.

I have used one of their digital images called Rainy Raymond.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Dr. Digi’s House Of Stamps Digital Stamp Called Rainy Raymond
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique – The Paper Pantry Cutting Files USB Volume II
Sky Paper
Green Card
White Card
Black Card
Grass Die
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digital image Rainy Raymond on to white card.
From the USB cutting files cut out a tree and a few leaves from white card.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the sky paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from green card measuring 4 cms by 19 cms.
Shape the top of the card and attach to the bottom of the card base.
Using the grass die, cut two from green card and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the tree and leaves and attach to the card base. I used promarkers.

Tree: Chestnut,terracotta, black.
Leaves: Marsh green, chestnut.

Layer four:
Colour in Rainy Raymond digital image, I used promarkers.

Suit / Hat/ Tie: True Blue, sky blue, azure
Waist Coat / Shirt: Duck egg, cool aqua, warm grey 2
Shoes: Black, cool grey 1, cool grey 3, cool grey 5
Umbrella: Crimson, red, cool grey 1, cool grey 2, chestnut, burnt sienna.
Skin/ Mustache: Putty, blush, ice grey 1, ice grey 2

Next cut around the digital image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using word type out the sentiment and add to the card base using foam pads.
