I made this birthday card for my nieces 18th birthday back in August using Rock and Roll Inspirational cd rom from Debbi Moore Designs.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ by 10″ White Card
Debbi Moore Designs – Rock And Roll Inspirational Videos Cd Rom
The Paper Boutique Celestial – Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Posy Embellishment Die Collection
Circle Die
Black Card
White Card
Pearl Bead
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
From the cd-rom choose and print off one backing paper and image sheet with records on.
Turn the card base horizontal, score the front in half and fold.
Measure 16 cms across the front and cut from the front to the back fold.
Fold each section to form two easel bases.
Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 17.3 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from the backing paper measuring 16.8 cms by 24.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 8.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the backing paper measuring 8 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front left fold of the card base.
Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 8.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the backing paper measuring 8 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front right fold of the card base.
Layer four:
From the image sheet cut out two sentiments.
Using black card cut out two pieces measuring 4 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Using foam pads attach one on the bottom of the card base in front of the front left fold.
Then attach the next one on the bottom of the card base in front of the front right fold, slightly more towards the front of the card base.
These are to make stoppers for the front folds.
Layer five:
From the image sheet cut out two records.
Then using the circle die cut out two black circles.
Matt and layer together and using foam pads attach to the card base on the left front fold.

Layer six:
Using the large star from the embellishment die collection, cut the matt layer out in black card.
Cut the star out in white card.
Matt and layer together and add a number or numbers to show an age.
Attach to the card base on the right front fold.
Layer seven:
Using the leaf die from the posy embellishment collection cut two out in black card.
Attach both to the bottom of the card base.
Next make a flower using the flower dies and attach to the card base on over lapping the leaves.
Add a pearl bead to the centre of the flower.
Layer eight:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 8.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 8 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the back left fold of the card base.
This is where you can write a message.
