Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #547.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Love Is In The Air.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Rory’s Owl Friends.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love – Rory’s Owl Friends
Promarkers
White Card
Brownish Red Paper
Green Paper
Christmas Patterned Paper
The Crafty Witches – Spellbinding Essential Sentiments Volume I
Banner Die
Circle Dies
Small pearl beads
Snow Flakes
Ink Pads – Versa Color – 158 Lapislazuli, 19 Cyan, 185 Polar Blue
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Rory’s Owl Friends twice on to white card.
Print a circle sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the brownish red paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the patterned paper measuring 18 cms by 18 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 4.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a piece from green paper measuring 4 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the first image, colour in the background with the ink pads.
Then colour in the second image, I used promarker pens.

Skin / Face: Putty, champagne, antique pink, ivory.
Hair / Bows: Warm grey 1, 3, 5, yellow, gold.
Hat / Scarf / Gloves: Pastel blue, pebble blue, carmine, antique pink, cocktail pink, gold, yellow.
Dress: Herb green, olive green, pear green, gold, yellow.
Boots: Pastel blue, pebble blue, caramel, cocoa, burnt sienna, cool grey 2, 4.
Fence: Chestnut, terracotta, burnt umber.

Cut around the image.
Then attach to the first image using foam pads.
Add pearl beads to the background sky and snowflakes to the background snow.
Cut a piece from the brownish red paper measuring 12.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the image and attach to the card base.

Layer four:
Using a circle die cut a circle from the brownish red paper.
Matt and layer with a circle sentiment and attach to the card base.
Then cut the banner die from the brownish red paper.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
