Todays card had been made using Butterfly Garden Rose Pink collection from Creative Crafting World.
I have made this card to hopefully give you some inspiration for the 2nd challenge on the Creative Crafting World Blog
The challenge is ‘Anything Goes’ as long as you are using Creative Crafting World products. I do hope you will join in.
You will need:
Butterfly Garden Rose Pink collection
The Paper Boutique On Your Special Day Doily Die
The Paper Boutique Collection the flowers & leaves dies
Flourish Die
1 x 8″ by 8″ white scallop card
Silver mirri card
Pearls
Double sided tape
Foam pads
Instructions:
Score the front of the 8″ by 8″ white card base at 10cms, this will make the easel card shape that has been used on this card.
Next cut out all the elements, card and paper that is needed :
Silver mirri card :
1 x 19cms by 19cms (card base)
1 x 19cms by 9cms (card front)
1 x Matt Die (from the doily set)
2 x Large Flower Die
Paper :
1 x 18.5cms by 18.5cms (card base)
1 x 18.5 cms by 8.5cms (card front)
1 x Doily Die
1 x Square Die
4 x Medium Flower Die (2 each in different coloured papers)
4 x Flourishes
I find that having everything cut makes designing your card a little easier as you can swap the pieces around until you are happy with your design.
Next matt and layer all these together, for example 19cms by 19cms silver mirri card is the bottom layer for the 18.5cms by 18.5cms paper piece and the paper doily die cut goes onto the silver mirri matt die cut.
The flowers are also layered up from largest to smallest adding a pearl to the centre.
Attach your matts and layers to the card base and to the front fold.
After you have matted and layered up the doily dies add a topper, flowers and butterflies and then attached this to the front fold of the card.
Using the same paper that you have chosen for the card cut out a few bits of the design. I have cut out a few flowers and butterflies, please see picture for reference.
This will give the design some dimension by attaching them with foam pads.
