Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #531.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Beside The Sea.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Sand Castle Ellie.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Paper Nesting Dolls Digital Stamp Called Sand Castle Ellie.
Seaside Clipart And Papers
Promarkers
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Sand Castle Ellie on to white card.
Choose and print two patterned papers, two plain papers, a beach hut, crab, beach ball, radio clipart.

Fold the front of the card base to make a z-fold shaped card.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first plain paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the second plain paper measuring 19.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front fold of the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image, I used promarkers.

Skin / Face: Almond, blush, dusky pink, cocktail pink.
Hair: Saddle brown, terracotta, burnt sienna.
Swimsuit: Cerise, fuchsia pink, salmon pink, carmine.
Bucket / Spade: Crimson, hot pink, ruby.
Sandcastle: Honey comb, raw sienna, mandarin.
Flag / Shell: Crimson, hot pink, chestnut, burnt umber.
Water: Sky blue, cobalt blue, azure.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the front of the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using foam pads, attach the beach hut and beach ball to the inside of the card base.
Then add the radio and crab to the front of the card base.
