Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #257 that starts today.
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.
For my card I have used a digi image from Dr. Digi’s House Of Stamps called Saucer Head.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need to print off two medium and two smaller sized Saucer Head digi images.
Score and fold the front of the card base in half to make a z-fold shaped card.
The space background image that I have used is one of my husbands photographs.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from silver mirri card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from a background paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from silver mirri card measuring 19.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from a background paper measuring 19 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.
Layer three:
Colour in the digi images Saucer Head using chameleon pens.
Aliens: GR3, YG3
Space Ships: OR4, RD4, BV2, CG8, YL2, BR2, BL4, BK4, NG4, NU1
Cut around each of the digi images leaving a small white border.
Then attach to the card base. Please see picture for reference.
Layer four:
Using the star dies, cut four small stars and one large star from silver mirri card.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer five:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from silver mirri card.
Cut the sentiment from black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping the edge.

Thank you for joining in with us. I hope I will be back later in the week to comment properly. Down here in Surrey the heat is too much to cope with. Even at this time of night, it is too much. It is 84 indoors and 70 outside.
