Here is a tutorial for a tower card. The paper collection I have used is called Season’s Greetings from Creative Crafting World.

This card is a large card and will need a box or a handmade envelope, as the final card measures 25 cms by 23 cms when folded flat.

I have put the instructions in three parts. First part shows the card pieces you need, the second part shows how to put the card shape together and the third part shows the matt and layer measurements.

You will need :

A4 White Card
Creative Crafting World – Season’s Greetings Collection
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions for card base

Cut a piece from white card measuring 25 cms by 14 cms.

Cut two pieces from white card measuring 25 cms by 13 cms.
Score at 3 cms, 6 cms, 9 cms and 12 cms.

Attach each together to form two tubes.

Cut two pieces from white card measuring 19 cms by 13 cms.
Score and fold at 3 cms, 6 cms, 9 cms and 12 cms.

Attach each together to form two tubes.

Cut two pieces from white card measuring 13 cms by 13 cms.
Score and fold at 3 cms, 6 cms, 9 cms and 12 cms.

Attach each together to form two tubes.

Next cut three pieces from white card measuring 19 cms by 14 cms, 13 cms by 14 cms and 7 cms by 14 cms.

These are all the card pieces that you will need to cut to make this card design.

Attaching the card base together:

Attach the first set of tubes to the white card that measures 25 cms by 14 cms.

Then attach the white card that measures 19 cms by 14 cms.

Attach the second set of tubes and white card that measure 13 cms by 14 cms.

Next attach the third set of tubes and white card that measures 7 cms by 14 cms.

How I Decorated The Tower Card:

Here are the matts and layer measurements that I have used:

Layer one:
Cut six pieces from plain card measuring 5.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Cut six pieces from patterned paper measuring 5 cms by 2 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the edges of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut three pieces from a plain card measuring 5.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Cut three pieces from patterned paper measuring 5 cms by 7 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the first, second and third layer of card base.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from a plain card measuring 6.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from patterned paper measuring 6 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer four
Then cut two pieces from plain card measuring 24.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Cut two pieces from plain card measuring 18.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Cut two pieces from plain card measuring 12.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Attach each to the side of the tubes.

Then decorated the front of the tower card with toppers, matting them with plain and white card.

Layer five:
To finish, cut a piece from a sentiment paper measuring 24.5 cms by 13.5 cms and attach to the back of the card base.
