Here are a selection of handmade cards that I have created for Creative Crafting World.

This paper collection is from The Paper Tree brand called Secrets Of The Forest.

Card One

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ x 10″ White Card
The Paper Tree Secrets Of The Forest – Essential Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Tree Secrets Of The Forest – Decorative Paper Collection
The Paper Tree Secrets Of The Forest – Die Cut Collection
The Paper Tree Secrets Of The Forest – Insert Collection

Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose three plain coloured cards, one insert, one patterned paper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first card measuring 17.3 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from the insert measuring 16.8 cms by 24.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the first card measuring 17.3 cms by 5.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the insert measuring 17.3 cms by 5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the right.

Layer three:
Cut a square from the first card measuring 12.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second card measuring 12 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a square from the paper measuring 11.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut each square in half corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together.
Attach to the card base on the top right corner using foam pads, slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer four:
Using the die collection, cut the decorative die from the second card.
Cut the tree designs from the die cut and attach each tree to either side of layer two. Please see picture for reference.
Using the small leaf dies cut them out from the third card.
Then attach them to the trees with a couple looking as if they are blowing from the trees.

Layer five:
Cut a piece from the second card measuring 3.5 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together with the sentiment using foam pads.
Then attach to the card base.

Card Two

You will need :

6″ x 6″ White Card

Instructions:

Choose one plain coloured card and one patterned, one insert and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the plain card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the insert measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 14.5 cm by 3 cms.
Attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from the plain card measuring 3.5 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer two using foam pads.

Card Three

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card

Small Circle Die
White Card
Black Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two coloured cards, four patterned papers, one topper and one circle sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first card measuring 20.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 12.5 cms by 14 cms.
From each of the four papers cut a piece measuring 12 cms by 3 cms.
Matt and layer the four pieces on to the white card leaving a small border between them.
Then attach to the bottom of the card base.

Layer three:
Cut piece of white card measuring 4 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second card measuring 3.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Then attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer one and two.

Layer four:
Using a circle die from fall in love die set, cut a circle from the first card.
Matt and layer this with the topper using foam pads.
Attach to layer three on the left.

Layer five:
Using the small flower die from the embellishment die set, cut a flower from white card and one from the second card.
Using one of the leaf dies cut two out in the third card.
Then attach to the topper on the left.
Add black gems to the centre of the flowers.

Layer six:
Using a small circle die, cut a circle from the first card.
Matt and layer with the circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the card base.

Card Four

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

DL White Card

Instructions:

Choose one coloured card, two of the same insert and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the card measuring 9.5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from one of the inserts measuring 9 cms by 20 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut the same image out from the second insert.
Attach it to the card base using foam pads over laying the same image.

Layer three:
Attach a sentiment to the card base.

Card Five

White Card
Small Circle Die

Instructions:

Choose one patterned coloured card, three patterned papers, one large topper, one small circle topper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from chocolate card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the patterned card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from chocolate card measuring 18 cms by 18 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 17.5 cms by 17.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 17 cms by 17 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Cut a square from chocolate card measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from chocolate card measuring 4 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3.5 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 3 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer three.

Layer five:
Cut a piece from chocolate card measuring
Cut a piece from white card measuring
Matt and layer together along with the topper.

Layer six:
Using the small circle die, cut a circle from chocolate card.
Matt and layer with the small circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the card base on the top right.

Layer seven:
Cut a piece from chocolate card measuring 4 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Then attach the sentiment using foam pads.
Attach to the card base on the bottom right.

Card Six

You will need :

7″ x 5″ White Card

Instructions:

Choose one plain coloured card, one patterned coloured card, two papers, one circle topper and one circle sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 17.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 4 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 3.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the fall in love die set, cut the matt die from white card.
Cut the decorative die from plain card.
Cut the larger circle die from the second paper.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer two and slightly hanging over the left edge of the card base.
Cut off the over hanging die cuts.

Layer four:
Using the smaller circle die, cut a circle from white card.
Matt and layer with the circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping all layers.

Card Seven

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card

Small Circle Die
White Card
Black Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two inserts ( one with an owl on either side), one circle topper and one circle sentiment.

Score the front of the card base in half to make a z fold card.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the first insert measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 20 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from the second insert measuring 19.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front fold of the card base.

Layer three:
Cut out the owl image from the second insert.
Attach to the inside of the card base on the right, using double foam pads.

Layer four:
Using the two circle dies from the fall in love die set, cut the largest from white card.
Cut the smaller die from black card.
Matt and layer together.
Then add the circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the front fold of the card base.

Layer five:
Using the small circle die, cut a circle from black card.
Matt and layer with the circle sentiment using foam pads.
Attach to the top corner of the circle topper.

Layer six:
Using a sentiment, cut the matt die from white card.
Cut the sentiment from black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Card Eight

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

Instructions:

Choose three plain coloured cards and one patterned, three patterned papers and circle topper.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first plain card measuring 25 cms by 17.3 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 24.5 cms by 16.8 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the first plain card measuring 17 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 16.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of the card base.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from the first plain card measuring 22 cms by 4 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 21.5 cms by 3.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from the first plain card measuring 4 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 3.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the bottom slightly over lapping all layers, using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the die set, cut the matt die from the first plain card.
Cut the decorative die from the third paper.
Cut the larger circle die from white card.
Cut the smaller circle die from the first plain card.
Matt and layer together and attach the circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping all layers and slightly hanging over the left edge.
Cut off the over hanging card.

Layer six:
Using a leaf die, cut the matt die from the first plain card.
Cut the leaf die from the second plain card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom right of the topper.
Using the larger flower die, cut the matt die from the third plain card.
Cut the flower die from the first plain card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the leaf die cuts.
Add a black gem to the centre of the flower.

Card Nine

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

6″ x 6″ White Card

Black Card
White Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose one patterned coloured card, one large square topper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Attach to the card base.
Then add the four triangle corners from the topper to the black card.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 2.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base across the center, using foam pads.

Layer three:
Take the centre of the topper apart.
Cut a square from white card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Attach the outer layer of the topper.
Cut a square from black card measuring 6.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Attach the square topper centre using foam pads.
Then attach to the centre of the white card using foam pads.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer four:
Choose a sentiment and then attach to the card base on the bottom right.

Card Ten

You will need :

A5 White Card

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the plain card measuring 20.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the insert measuring 20 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the plain card measuring 20.5 cms by 5 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 20 cms by 4.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the right using foam pads.

Layer three:
Attach the large topper to the card base slightly over lapping all layers using foam pads.
The attach the two circle toppers to the bottom of the large topper using foam pads.

Card Eleven

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

2 x 6″ By 6″ White Card

The Paper Tree Secrets Of The Forest – Die Cut Collection
Small Circle Die
White Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape

Instructions:

Choose one plain coloured card and two patterned, one patterned paper, one topper, two circle toppers and one square sentiment.

Score and fold one of the card base fronts in half to make a stepper card.
Then attach the back to the second card base for support.

Layer one:
Cut a square from one of the patterned cards measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Attach to the inside front of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the plain card measuring 14.5 cms by 4 cms.
Cut a piece from the paper measuring 14.5 cms by 3.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer one.

Layer three:
Cut a square from the plain coloured card measuring 6 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 5.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Then attach the square topper using foam pads.
Attach to layer one slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 7 cms by 14.5 cms.
Attach to the front fold of the card base.
Then attach the large topper using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the small circle die, cut two out in the plain coloured card.
Matt and layer the small circle toppers using foam pads.
Attach one to the inside of the front card base and one to the front fold using foam pads.
