Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #521.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of add a flower..

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Sitting Lakeside.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base

The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Fresh Green Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Dusky Pink Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiments Volume XX
The Paper Boutique Perfect Posies – Star flower Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Perfect Posies – Daisy Flower Die Collection
White Card
Black Card
Green Card
Brown Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Sitting Lakeside on to white card.
Choose two papers from the powder blue paper pad, one paper from the fresh green paper pad, two papers from the dusky pink paper pad ( one patterned and one plain ).

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first powder blue paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from the fresh green paper measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut both in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Sitting Lakeside, I used promarkers.

Water: Azure, cyan, arctic blue.
Lily Pads: Sunflower, mustard, pink, bright green.
Bullrushes: Chestnut, raw sienna, pear green, olive green.
Grass / Ground: Pine, emerald, leaf green, burgundy, burnt umber, cocoa.
Tree: Burnt orange, burnt sienna, spice, olive green, grass, pear green.
Sky: Cadet blue, cloud blue.
Skin / Face: Almond, satin, salmon pink, arctic blue.
Hair: Chestnut, spice, raw sienna.
Clothes: Salmon pink, antique pink, carmine, cerise.

Cut a piece from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 16 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the digital image.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from the plain pink paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the leaf dies, cut two from green card and two from brown card.
Using the star flower die, make a flower from the dusky pink papers.
Attach to the digital image on the bottom left corner.

Layer six:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second powder blue paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
Cut a square from black card measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
