Today’s handmade card was created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #575.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Springtime.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Spring Koala.

You Will Need:
7″ x 7″ White Card Base
White Card
Last Minute Manda – Spring Koala
Promarker Pens
Yellow Paper
Blue Paper
Patterned Paper
Banner Dies
Shaped Nesting Dies
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image:
Print the Spring Koala digital images onto white card.

Create Layer One:
Cut a square from yellow solid paper measuring 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cm x 16 cm.
Cut a square from patterned paper measuring 15.5 cm x 15.5 cm.
Matt and layer these pieces together and attach to the front of the card base.

Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the Spring Koala digital images.
Here are the colours I used:
Bear : Burnt sienna, caramel, praline, oatmeal, blush, champagne, tan, cocktail pink, blossom.
Flowers : Yellow, tulip yellow, sunflower, pear green, olive green, burnt orange, burnt umber.
Flower Pot : Cyan, sky blue, arctic.
Writing : Cyan, tea green.

Use the nesting dies to cut out the main image.
Select a slightly larger die and cut the same shape from blue coloured paper.
Matt and layer these piece together and attach to the card base.

Carefully cut around the text, leaving a small white border for a clean outline.
Use foam pads to attach the sentiment to the card base, adding dimension.

Create Layer Two:
Cut two banner shapes from blue coloured paper using the banner dies.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Final Touches:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base for a personal message.
