Today’s handmade card has been created using the wonderful new die and paper collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘Springtime Blooms’.

This is another die and paper collection from The Paper Boutique range.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Live Life In Full Bloom Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Butterfly Die Collection
Black Card
White Card
White Pearl beads
Black Pearl Beads
Pink Ribbon
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Using black card cut a piece measuring 25 cms by 17.3 cms.
Next using one of the inserts cut a piece measuring 24.5 cms by 16.8 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Using black card cut a piece measuring 25 cms by 3.5 cms.
Then using the piece of insert that is left cut it to measure 24.5 cms by 3 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.

Next using the Live Life In Full Bloom die collection, cut the matt layer out in black card.
Cut the doily die out in white card.
Add pink ribbon to the holes that are cut out on the doily die cut.
Then cut the centre circle out in lilac card from the coloured card collection.

Matt and layer the doily die cut on to the black matt layer using foam pads.
Attach the centre circle die cut.
Then attach the topper using foam pads.
Attach this layer to the card base using foam pads.

Using the small flowers from the die collection cut out eight in lilac card.
Attach to the doily die cut and add the pearl beads to the centre of the flowers.

Next using a butterfly from the Butterfly die collection, cut the butterfly out of lilac card.
Then cut the butterfly body out of black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of the card base.
