Today’s handmade card has been created using a design from Craftsuprint called Steampunk Pug (ref cup883851_88163) by Lauren C. Waterworth.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 10″ White Card
Steampunk Pug Design Sheet
Kraft Card
White Card
Brown Ribbon
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the main Steampunk Pug design sheet and two of the second design sheet. Cut out all the elements from the first and second sheet, choosing one sentiment.
From the extra second sheet cut out the round part of the chosen sentiment then from the dog cut out the bow, monical and hat.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from kraft card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Add two strips of brown ribbon to the top right and bottom left corners.
Attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of kraft card measuring 21 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer with the main image from the design sheet.
Attach to the card base.
Next add the image elements using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from kraft card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
