Here are a three handmade cards I have created using the new die collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘Steampunk Romance’.
This collection will be on Create and Craft, Monday the 13th at 8am.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
A5 White Card
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Make Time For You Die Collection
Black Card
White Card
Chocolate Card
Promarkers
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Lay the large matt die from the die collection on to the A5 card slightly over lapping the card fold and run through your die cutting machine.
This will make your card base shape.
Next cut the large matt die out in black card.
Then cut the doily die out in white card.
Colour the doily die cut in with promarkers.
The ones I used were:
Cool grey 2, 3 and 5
Burnt Sienna
Lush Green
Grass
Blush
Attach the doily die cut to the black matt layer.
Then attach to the card base.
Cut a square from chocolate card using the centre square die.
Attach to the doily die cut using foam pads.
Using the sentiment die, cut the matt layer out in black card.
Cut the sentiment out in white card.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the centre of the card base using foam pads.
To finish off the design, cut out the embellishments that come with this die collection.
Cut the clock face out in black card.
Cut the clock hands out in white card.
Attach over the clock face on the doily die cut.
Cut the cogs out in chocolate card.
Attach over the cogs on the doily die cut.

Black Card
White Card
Promarkers
Black Ink
Silver Ink
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Add black ink to the front of the card base to give it a slightly aged look.
Cut the matt layer of the doily die out in black card.
Add silver ink over the top of the black die cut.
Then attach to the card base.
Next cut the doily die out in white card.
Colour the flowers and leaves in with promarkers.
The ones I used were :
Lime green
Poppy
Then add silver ink to the rest of the doily die cut.
Attach to the matt layer on the card base using foam pads.
Cut a circle out in black card using the centre circle die.
Add silver ink over the top.
Using foam pads attach to the doily die cut.
Using the sentiment die, cut the matt layer out in white card.
Cut the sentiment out in black card.
Add silver ink to both.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the centre of the circle die cut.
Cut two small keys out of white card using the key embellishment from the die collection.
Colour the top of the key with the poppy promarker.
Add silver ink to the rest of the key die cut.
Attach to the card base just under the sentiment.

Chocolate Card
Cream Card
White Card
Brown Ink
Gold Ink
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Add brown ink to the front of the card base to give it a slightly aged look.
Cut the matt layer of the doily die out in chocolate card.
Add gold ink over the top of the die cut.
Then attach to the card base.
Next cut the doily die out in white card.
Add brown ink all over the die cut, making different shaded areas.
Using foam pads attach to the matt layer on the card base.
Cut a cream card square using the centre square die.
Add brown and gold ink over the top of the die cut.
Using foam pads attach to the doily die on the card base.
Then using the sentiment die set, cut the matt layer out in brown card.
Add gold ink over the top of the die cut.
Cut the sentiment out in white card.
Add brown ink over the top of the die cut.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the centre of the square die cut on the card base.
Using chocolate card cut out three cog die cuts using the embellishments from the die collection.
Add gold ink to each cog die cut.
Attach to the card base. Please see picture for reference.
To finish cut a large key using the key die from the embellishment die collection out of white card.
Add gold ink to the top and brown ink to the bottom of the key die cut.
Attach to the bottom right corner of the card base.
