Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #295

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be follow and a sentiment included.

This time we could use any product of company so I have used Summer Gnomes from Creative Crafting World.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ x 8″ White Card Base
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Summer Gnomes – Decorative Papers
The Paper Boutique Summer Gnomes – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Summer Gnomes –Colour Me Toppers
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiments Volume XX
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies Volume IV
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies Volume I
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose a colour me topper and three backing papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a circle from black card using a large circle die.
Then cut a circle from the second paper using a slightly smaller die.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the top right.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 15 cms by 11 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 14.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping layers one and two.

Layer four:
Colour in the topper, I used Promarkers.

Gnome: Ice grey 1, 2,3, midnight blue, verdigris, duck egg, mustard, buttercup, baby pink. blossom.
Mushroom: Burgundy, cardinal red, mustard, yellow, burnt sienna, cinnamon.
Bucket: Cool grey 2, 4, 5, true blue, aegean, orange, chestnut, cocoa.
Grass: Holly, moss, pesto.

Creative Crafting World

Cut a piece from black card measuring 11 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the colour me topper.
Attach to the card base using foam pads, overlapping all layers.

Layer five:
Using four of the fish tail dies, cut two different sizes from black card.
Then cut two from the third patterned paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer six:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping the topper.

Layer seven:
Fold and add an insert to the centre of the card base.
