Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #260 .
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.
I have used a digi image from The Paper Shelter called Teamwork.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
A5 White Card
The Paper Shelter Digi Image Called Teamwork
The Paper Boutique – Assorted Decorative Papers
Creative Crafting World – Sentiment Popper Pad
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
Chameleon Pens
Black Card
Black Ribbon
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print off the digi image twice.
Choose two decorative papers and two sentiments from the popper pad. Then from the cd-rom print off a sky paper.
Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first decorative paper measuring 10 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer to the top half of the black card.
Cut a piece from the second decorative paper measuring 10 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer to the bottom half of the black card.
Attach a piece of black ribbon across the centre.
Then attach the layer to the card base.
Layer two:
From the first digi image, cut out the bamboo and grass and colour in.
Chameleon pens used:
Grass: OL3
Bamboo: GR2
From the second digi image, cut out the tree and panda’s and colour in.
Chameleon Pens used:
Panda’s BK4, NU1, NG4, PK2
Tree: BR5
Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 13 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the sky paper measuring 12.5 by 11 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach the first digi image to the bottom of the sky paper.
Then attach the second digi image using foam pads.
Attach the layer to the centre of the card base.
Layer four:
Using black card, cut a matt layer for each of the sentiments.
Attach one sentiment to the top left and one to the bottom right, slightly over lapping layer three.
