The Lady – Sending Love

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #246 that starts today.

The theme for this challenge is Feminine + A Sentiment.

For my card I have used a digi image from The Paper Shelter called The Lady.

Handmade card using a digi image from The Paper Shelter called The Lady.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Shelter digi image The Lady
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique Pretty Purfect – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Forever Friends Cutting Die Collection
Brown Card
White Card
Pearl Beads
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the  The Lady digi image and then choose two papers and one circle topper.

Layer one:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 18 cms by 18 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using the doily die set, cut the matt die from brown card.
Cut the decorative die from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of the card base.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 19 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19 cms by 5.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19 cms by 5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base on the left using foam pads, slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer four:
Using the circle die from the doily die set, cut a circle from brown card.
Matt and layer with the circle topper using foam pads.
Then attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer two and three.

Layer five:
Colour in the  The Lady digi image.
For my image I used Chameleon pens.

Clothes: Pk2, Nu2
Hair: Br5.
Skin: Nu00.
Parasol: Nu1, Nu2, Br4.
Flowers: Pk4, Ol3.

Next cut around the digi image, leaving a small white border.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping layer three and four.

To finish add pearl beads to the doily die cut.
