Today’s handmade card has been created using the new paper collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘The Magical Forest’.

This is another paper collection from The Paper Boutique range.

I have also used dies from The Paper Boutique Floral Die Collection.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique The Magical Forest Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique The Magical Forest Card Collection

Black Card
White Card
Small Pearl Beads
Medium Pearl Beads
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From black card cut a piece measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Then using one of the coloured cards from the card collection cut a piece measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Next from black card cut a piece measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Choose a paper from the paper kit and cut a piece measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach the the centre of the card base using foam pads.

Using black card cut a piece measuring 16 cms by 5 cms.
Choose a paper from the paper kit and cut a piece measuring 16 cms by 4.5 cms.
Matt and together and attach to the left of the centre layer using foam pads.

Using black card cut two pieces measuring 13.5 cms by 3 cms.
Choose a paper from the paper kit and cut a piece measuring 13 cms by 2.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach horizontally to the card base using foam pads.
Over lap the last two layers. Please see picture for reference.

Then using the It’s Time to Celebrate doily die cut the matt layer out in black card.
Cut the doily layer out in one of the papers from the paper kit.
Matt and layer together and add pearl beads to the centre of the flowers.

Next cut the centre circle die out in white card.
Make the topper slightly smaller by using a smaller circle die.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the centre of the doily die cut.

Using wet glue attach the doily layer to the card base slightly over lapping all layers.

Next cut the matt layer of the sentiment out in black card.
Then cut the sentiment out in white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Using one of the butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies collection.
Cut the butterfly die out in white card and then out in one of the coloured cards from the card collection.
Cut the butterfly centre out in black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Adding a few small pearl beads.
