Today’s handmade card has been created using the new paper collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘The Magical Forest’.

This is another paper collection from The Paper Boutique range.

I have also used dies from The Paper Boutique Floral Die Collection.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

2 x 6″ by 6″ White Card
The Paper Boutique The Magical Forest Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Floral Collection – Make a Wish Cutting Dies
The Paper Boutique Sentiments Volume III – Make A Wish
Circle Die
Woodstock Card
White Card
Pink Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Score both card base fronts in half and fold to make a z fold card.
Cut a 4 cms strip from one of the card bases and put the rest to one side to use on another project.

Choose a coloured card from the woodstock range and cut a piece measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Choose a paper from the paper kit and cut a piece measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Cut another piece from the woodstock card measuring 14.5 cms by 7 cms.
Choose a different paper from the paper kit and cut a piece measuring 14 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.

Using the woodstock card cut a piece measuring 14.5 cms by 3.5 cms.
Then cut two pieces measuring 7 cms by 3.5 cms.
Attach these to the 4 cms strip and then attach the to the card base.
The longest part is attached to the front fold and the shortest part to the inside of the card base.

Using the Make a Wish cutting dies, cut the matt layer and small circle die out in the woodstock card.
Then cut the doily die out in white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the card base.

Cut the circle topper slightly smaller using a circle die.
Using foam pads attach to the doily die cut layer.

Add pink gems to the doily die cut layer.

Using the sentiment die cut the matt layer out in the woodstock card.
Then cut the sentiment out in white card.
Using foam pads attach to the inside of the card base.
