Today’s handmade card has been created using a Paper Boutique USB collection from Creative Crafting World called The Paper Pantry volume V.

This USB has six different paper collections.
Childhood Tales, Harmony Blooms, Yesterday’s Garden, The Country Cottage, Autumn Pals and Secrets of the Forest
Along with extra decorative papers.

For this card design I have used Secrets of the Forest collection.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

DL Card
The Paper Boutique – The Paper Pantry USB Volume V
2 x Circle Dies
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need two backing papers and one topper sheet. Print the topper sheet at 70% to make the topper and sentiment slightly smaller.
Cut out one topper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 20 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the first backing paper measuring 19.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20.5 cms by 3.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 20.5 cms by 3 cms.
Cut a piece from the second backing paper measuring 20.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach down the centre of the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Using the circle dies, cut out two circles from black card.
Matt and layer one with the topper and one with the sentiment using foam pads.
Attach the topper to the top of layer two and the sentiment to the bottom of layer two.
To finish I added a couple of small flowers cut from one of the papers.
