Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called The Perfect Pumpkin.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called The Perfect Pumpkin
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches Hocus Pocus Digital Download Collection
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies – Volume X
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image The Perfect Pumpkin on to white card.
Print the spider web paper, one coloured paper, two sentiments and two toppers with potion bottles.

Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using two of the nesting dies, cut the largest die using white card.
Then cut the slightly smaller die using the spider web paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image The Perfect Pumpkin, I used promarkers.

Skin / Face: Blush, dusky pink, coral, storm cloud, grass.
Hair: Tulip yellow, mustard, amber.
Clothes: Shale, purple, plum, aubergine, pine, olive green.
Pumpkin: Pear green, herb green, olive green.
Mushrooms: Apricot, burnt sienna, cocoa, raw sienna, burnt orange, orange, saddle brown, terracotta.
Flying Cat: Powder blue, cadet blue, storm cloud, grass, cool grey 3, 4, lipstick red, salmon pink.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut the potion bottle images from the two toppers.
Attach to the bottom of the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Cut two white matt layers for the sentiments.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
