Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #316.

The theme for this challenge is Alcohol Inks or Thinking Of You + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be followed and a sentiment included.

For my card I have used an image from Paper Potions Toppers Coven Club Vol IV by The Crafty Witches.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 7″ White Card
The Crafty Witches – Paper Potions Toppers Coven Club Vol IV Digital Collection
Creative Crafting World – Moonlight Song
The Crafty Witches – Essential Sentiments Volume 1 Digital Download Collection
Blue Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the image twice on to white card.
Choose two papers (one with large flowers) and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from blue card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from blue card measuring 14.5 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer with one of the images and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Cut around the main image on the second image sheet.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using the second paper, cut out four larger corner flowers.
Attach to layer two in the corners using foam pads.

Layer five:
From the sentiment sheet, cut out a sentiment.
Cut a blue matt layer and matt and layer together with the sentiment.
Attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
