This handmade card has been created using a new paper collection called ‘Tropical Dreams’.
This is a paper collection from The Paper Boutique range from Creative Crafting World.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ by 10″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Tropical Dreams 5″ x 5″ Scene & Sentiment Topper Pad
The Paper Boutique Tropical Dreams Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Tropical Dreams Coloured Card Collection
White Card
Flower Dies
Leaf Die
Shell Dies
Silver Gem
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Using a card from the coloured card collection cut a piece measuring 25 cms by 17.3 cms.
Then choose the insert with a shell design and cut a piece measuring 24.5 cms by 16.8 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Next using white card cut a piece measuring 17.3 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from the coloured card measuring 17.3 cms by 5.5 cms.
Cut the leftover piece of the insert to measure 17.3 cms by 5 cms.
Matt and layer together and using foam pads attach to the left of the card base.
Choose a matching square topper.
Cut a square using white card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a square using the coloured card measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the card base.
Cut out a couple of leaves using green card from the coloured card collection.
Then using a flower die cut out a flower using white card and matching coloured card.
Attach this to the second matt and layer. Please see picture for reference.
Add a silver gem to the centre of the flower.
For a little more decoration you can add some shell die cuts using matching card.
These have been added to the bottom of the card base.
The shell dies are from the Range and the brand is Cut and Make.
