This handmade card has been created using a new paper collection called ‘Tropical Dreams’.
This is a paper collection from The Paper Boutique range from Creative Crafting World.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Tropical Dreams Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Tropical Dreams – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Because Is My Favourite Reason
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Floral Embellishments
Small Butterfly Die
Flourish Die
Leaf Die
White Card
Cream Card
Woodstock Card – Orange
Chocolate Card
Brown Ribbon
Brown Pearls
Cream Pearls
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Using Chocolate card cut a square measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Choose a paper from the paper kit and cut a square measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Add brown ribbon to the centre of this layer and attach to the card base.
Next using the Because Is My Favourite Reason doily die set cut the matt layer out in chocolate card.
Cut the doily die out in white card.
Matt and layer together.
Then cut the small square die out in chocolate card.
Using foam pads attach this square and a square topper to the centre of the doily die cut.
Attach to the card base on the left.
Using the small flowers that come with the doily die set cut one out in orange woodstock card and one out in cream card.
Cut enough to cover three corners and attach to the doily die cut.
Add cream and brown pearls to the centre of the flowers.
Next cut three leaves out of green card from the Coloured Card collection.
Cut two flourishes out in orange woodstock card.
Attach these to the bottom right corner of the doily die cut.
Using a flower from the Floral Embellishments cut the matt layer out in chocolate card.
Then cut the flower out in white and orange woodstock card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the leaves and flourishes.
Add a brown pearl bead to the centre.
To finish off cut out a butterfly in orange woodstock card and one in cream card.
Attach to the card base.
