This collection is from The Paper Boutique range and has super cute animal images and beautiful papers that go perfectly together.

handmade pop up box card has been created using a new paper collection called Wild and Wonderful from Creative Crafting World.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A4 White Card
The Paper Boutique Wild And Wonderful – 8″ by 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Wild And Wonderful – Embellishment Pad
The Paper Boutique Wild And Wonderful – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Beyond Alphabet Collection
Corner Punch
A Sheet Of Acetate
Pink Fluff Feathers
Small Silver Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Glue Gun

Instructions:

Choose one backing paper from the paper pad and three coloured cards from the coloured card collection.
Then using the long topper from the embellishment pad cut out the four animal images.

Pop Up Box:

Score the A4 white card at 10 cms on the longest length.

Turn the card to the shortest length and score at 7 cms, 14 cms, 21 cms and 28 cms.
These measurement will leave a 1.5 cms at the end of the card.

The white card now has a top measuring approximately 10 cms and a bottom measuring approximately 11 cms.

At the top of the card cut down all score lines to the centre score line. On the last one cut the 1.5 cm piece off at the center score line. This will give you four separate tops.
Fold down three of the tops, leaving the fourth one standing.

Glue the bottom 1.5 cm tab to the other side of the card to make the box shape.

Pop up box instructions

Next cut three pieces of card measuring 10 cms by 5 cms.
On the 10 cm length score 1.5 cms on each end and fold.
Add glue to the folded ends and attach each to the inside of the pop up box card. This is where all embellishments are attached.

Next round off all corners using the corner punch.

Layer one:
Using the first coloured card cut three pieces measuring 9 cms by 6 cms.
Then using the patterned paper card cut three pieces measuring 8.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Round off the top two corners using the corner punch.
Matt and layer these together and attach to the top fold down layers.

Layer two:
Cut three pieces from the second coloured card measuring 10.5 cms by 6 cms.
Attach these to the bottom three panels of the pop up box.

Layer three:
Using the first coloured card cut two piece measuring 20 cms by 6 cms.
Using white card cut a piece measuring 19.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Then using the patterned paper cut a piece measuring 19.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Round off the top two corners using the corner punch.
Matt and layer these together and attach one to the inside back panel of the pop up box card and one to the outside panel.
The outside layer is the place for your message.

Layer four:
Using the small square from the alphabet die collection, cut four squares out from white card.
Then using the alphabet dies cut out the word ‘love’ in the third coloured card and attach them to the white squares.
Cut four strips of acetate and attach to the back of the four squares.

Layer Five:
Cut three strips of acetate and attach to the back of the square toppers.

Layer six:
Attach the animal square toppers and the letter toppers to the inside of the pop up box.
Then attach a couple of pink fluff feathers to the inside using hot glue.
