Witch Ellie – Trick Or Treat

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #418 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from Paper Nest Dolls called Witch Ellie Riding Broom.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of No Patterned Papers.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Handmade card using a digi image from Paper Nest Dolls called Witch Ellie Riding Broom.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 7″ White Card
Paper Nest Dolls Digi Image Witch Ellie Riding Broom
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful – Have A Wicked Day Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful – Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful – Sentiment Die Collection
Orange Card
Black Card
White Card
Corner Punch
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and cut to measure 12.5 cms by 11 cms.
Then round off each corner using a corner punch.

Layer one:
Cut a square from orange card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Round each corner using a corner punch.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using the die set, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the decorative die from white card.
Matt and layer together and cut in half.
Attach one half to the bottom left corner and one half to the top right corner of the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digi image Witch Ellie Riding Broom using promarkers.

Skin: Dusky pink, blush.
Hair: Chestnut, saddle brown, raw sienna..
Hat/Shoes: Black, cool grey 5, cool grey 4.
Skirt / Bows: Peach, mandarin, orange, mango.
Top / Tights: Honeycomb, amber.
Cat: Cool grey 5, warm grey 4, warm grey 1, dusky rose.
Broom: Cinnamon, coral, cool grey 4, burgundy.

Witch Ellie

Next cut a piece from orange card measuring 13 cms by 11.5 cms.
Rounded all corners using a corner punch.
Matt and layer with the digi image and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from orange card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the spider die set, cut the spider die from black card.
Cut the spider body die from orange card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer six:
Cut a square from orange card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Round off each corner using a corner punch.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
