This card has been especially made for the CD Sunday challenge ‘second time around‘.
With this challenge you have to recycle something as well as still using something off a cd.
I have recycled my Marc Jocobs perfume box.
I have used this to make bees and a dragonfly for my card.
The cd that I have used is ‘Redoute’s Les Belles Fleurs, volume one.
You will need:
Redoute’s Les Belles Fleurs, Volume One
7″ by 10″ White Card
White Card
Paper Boutique Dragonflies and Bee Die Collection
Paper Boutique Sentiments Volume V – It’s Your Birthday
Invisible Thread
Wet Glue
Instructions:
Cover the front of the 7″ by 10″ white card with the paper that you choose from the cd.
Cut a circle in the top of the card. I used my scan and cut for this.
Next cut and layer four bees, one dragonfly and one sentiment.
Using invisible thread attach some over the circle hole.
I have hid this on the inside of the card with some flowers.
Next attach two bees together over the invisible thread.
This will then look like the bee is flying.
Then attach the dragonfly, sentiment and the last bee to the front of the card.
To finish off I printed another of the flower papers from the cd and used this for an insert.

What wonderful recycling, a great use for the perfume box. And that background paper is beautiful, so misty and ethereal. Thank you for sharing at CD Sundays.
What a fabulous item of recycling. Stunning. Using the empty perfume box reminds me of when my Mother (who was a wonderful needlewoman) used to dress tiny peg dolls for a window display of a local perfumery in clothes to match the colours of the perfume bottles. She would have had fun with this one.
Whoops sorry to go on.
Thank you for joining in with my challenge.
