Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #407 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Dr. Digi’s called Caveman Klob

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Birthdays, but you must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
Dr. Digi’s Digi Image Called Caveman Klob
Promarkers
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Happy Birthday Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Male Relations Die Collection
White Card
Brown Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and two papers from the cd rom.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 17 cms by 24.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the white card measuring 16.5 cms by 24 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 17 cms by 11 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 17 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 11.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 11 cms by 11 cms.
Cut each square in half, corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together and attach to the bottom of layer two using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image, Caveman Klob using promarkers.

Skin: Salmon pink, pastel pink, pale pink.
Clothes: Orange, pumpkin, gold, honey comb.
Club: Chestnut, cocoa.
Wheel: Cool grey 5, cool grey 4, cool grey 3, chestnut, cocoa.

Next cut a piece from brown card measuring 12 cms by 10 cms.
Cut the topper to measure 11.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer five:
Using the sentiment from the doily die set, cut the matt die from brown card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer two using foam pads.

Layer six:
Using a sentiment from the male relations die set, cut the matt die from brown card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, on the bottom right.

To finish cut out a couple of bones from the first paper and attach to the card base.
